What's up with this "dressing room" feature on Nordstrom.com?

I just went to Nordstrom.com, and as I clicked on an item, it gave me the option to put my item in the dressing room. Once in the dressing room, you can arrange items into outfits and save them.

Has anyone noticed this, or tried it? Is it new?

I just looked for it and found nothing. I wonder if you are on the trial list.

I had it on mine last night, but I couldn't figure out how to really get it to work...

ETA: I think I figured out how to make it work. I can only drag items into it from the thumbnail page, not if I'm on the actual item page. It's kind of like polyvore, where you can put different items together to make an outfit.

It's on mine, too, but like Diana, I couldn't figure it out.

And it's a total joke since I've only actually ever ORDERED something from Nordie's once! (I'd order much more often except for the duties and shipping to Canada).

You might need an account to see it. It should be on many page wear you can view the clothing items.

It's kind of interesting if you are trying to build outfits. But what I expected, if it was a true dressing room, was that you would put in your measurements and then figure out if the item would fit you!! So I was a bit confused by the "dressing room" name because it had nothing to do with trying on. Maybe they should call it "my outfits." I guess I am too literal!

Laura- that's what I thought. Big whoop that you can put a few pieces together in a little square. How is that going to give you any visual of how things will work together? I thought it was going to let me create a model of myself to try stuff on. I doubt I'll be using this feature.as is

I haven't found or tried the Nordstrom 'dressing room' option yet, but I remember fiddling with this on Boden's website and having a lot of fun putting together "outfits" from their online catalogue/site.

Laura and others - Nordstrom does have a system where it'll help you find the right size in dresses. It has been surprisingly accurate - you fill out a questionnaire and it'll suggest the best size for you in most dresses on their site. The questionnaire doesn't have you filling in measurements, but rather - asking you what sizes fit you best in various brands etc.
