What's the 2020 version of the Shimera Boy Shorts?

Many years ago, the Shimera boy shorts were a YLF favorite. They held up remarkably and I really liked them! Unfortunately, they're no longer available and I haven't found a new favorite replacement. I'm currently trying the Hanky Panky boy shorts ... and although they're pretty and comfortable, I wish they came up *a little* higher.

So, seeking underwear suggestions! I prefer boy shorts or something that promises no VPL.

Good question. I have been buying whatever matches my bras and is not a thong. And comes in an XS size.

I want to say that Nordstrom replaced the Shimera brand with their own Nordstrom-labeled version, but as I recall nobody liked it so I don't know if they've given up or are still trying to replace it.

Soma might have something similar. I only wear cotton undies so I'm not much help.

Hi Anne, these are Australian so I am not sure if you can get them... called maxi briefs labelled “Sloggi”- a Triumph brand. They are not boy shorts but have no side seam and I own 6 pairs, hope to get more as other old undies wear out. Have found them very good.

white house black market spun off their underwear brand, which i am blanking on now. it's in malls.

i love their high rise underwear. no vpl and a stay-put hem around the butt. love these for special occasion. otherwise, i wear granny panties from hanes via amazon.

I liked the seamlessness of Shimera but not the Nordstrom undies that replaced them. I’m now wearing a different style of gender-neutral boyshorts by TomboyX. I especially like their micromodal.

The Chantelle Soft Stretch line is quite popular for seamless -- I like the hipster brief, not sure if they do a boyshort because boyshorts are a total no-go for my body shape (the legs always roll up). I have a couple pairs of TomboyX modal briefs (or bikinis? I don't remember), and they are comfortable but the waistband and leg bindings are a little bit bulkier than my ideal.

I never tried the Shimera boy shorts, but I found this brand at a food co-op in Moscow, ID.

Shorts of some kind make the most sense for avoiding PL, but I have never found a line of this kind of underwear that looks good on my body, at all. Not even remotely.
