So Im not quite sure as to what my body type is.
some people say that I'm a triangle, but others say rectangle.

No, hourglasses aren't necessarily busty. It's the shape outline from your shoulders, waist, and hips. It's a little hard to tell because you cut your shoulders off in the second pic, but I'm leaning toward hourglass or rectangle - depending on whether you have a defined waist.

ETA: Or maybe inverted triangle, depending on whether your shoulders are wider than your hips. Sorry, the angle is throwing my brain off!

I just got my measurements cause i just found a tape measure while cleaning the room (yay)
I got 30.5 bust, 27 waist, 32 hips.
I guess that makes me a rectangle?

There are wiser ones than I who can reply, but I believe the shoulders are the top measurement you want to consider, rather than the bust. Your shoulders are considerably wider than your hips, which I believe means you are not an hourglass (shoulders and hips are about equal on an hourglass, with decidedly smaller waist).

You appear to be an inverted triangle or V shape. It's a very nice shape, slender and lovely.

Try this: standing straight in front of a mirror, measure the width of your shoulders (front view only, not circumference; the width of your waist (front view only, not circumference), and the width of your hips (again front view only, not circumference). That will help identify your silhouette from the front.

I vote hourglass only because looking at these pictures you have a defined waist and your torso and shoulder line do not appear significantly smaller across than your hips which would indicate a pear.

I think generally hour glass figures have healthy bust line, but there is usually balance of top and bottom regardless of size -- bigger bust, bigger bottom, smaller but smaller bottom. It all pivots around a defined waist that's smaller than both.

I think you're an inverted triangle, like me, or a slight hourglass with IT tendencies. That's just from seeing that your shoulders look a wee bit wider than your hips. I find that all the clothes I naturally avoided anyway turned out to be wrong for my shape, so I bet you have a bit of an idea already. What tends to suit you in your opinion?

Shoulders at 17, waist 13, and 16 for my hips

Hmmm, full skirts are good on me, and there are problems with me looking for jeans (if thats important), buttoned downs are nice. I really have no idea on the jackets and cardigans cause i live in a country that has a tropical climate. Hmm, i dont really know if that helps or something

I see a rectangle/slim hourglass. The shoulders are beautifully square, but not so prominent that you need to dress around them. However you may want to avoid excessive embellishment on the shoulder line.

I see rectangle/slim hourglass too. If your shoulders are wider than your hips, I don't know that the casual glance would really pick up on it.

I agree with Cocolion. I'm pretty sure you are a slender rectangle with hourglass tendencies. I don't think you're an inverted triangle. Your shoulders are not bulky or broad, although you do have a nice strong shoulder line. Having square shoulders does not necessarily make you an IT, especially when your arms and shoulders are so slim. You may have noticed that gathers at the shoulder on tops or jackets doesn't suit you, though, and you probably don't want much in the way of shoulder pads on jackets/coats.

I would say a rectangle. An hourglass can be slim, but an hourglass' waist would dip in more dramatically (why we have such trouble finding pants!) You are a lucky girl, you can wear anything as a rectangle! Clothes are made for you!
