What's happening to me?

Yesterday I got Free People catalog and really surprised myself by liking a lot of the stuff in there.
I used to be Boho many, many moons ago but veered away from that.
Here are some of the things that caught my eye

I've definitely seen you headed in this direction, Anna! Softer, flowier, a little more flowery, pastels - it's not a sea change, but it's a bit of a new current. Plus some of the stuff you're not wearing is becoming more mainstream than cutting edge - seems like everyone has leather leggings now, right?

I see lots of FP clothes that I like, especially in winter. I wouldn't wear them all together, but some of their sweaters and boots are cute. Same with Sundance - lots of cozy options.

Love the patterned cords and the parka. The last shirt reminds me a bit of j. jill - they had something similar this summer.

I have an inner boho too, and I love to look at this stuff. I don't often let her out though. You should let yours free! Such pretty clothes!

Yeah I saw a pair of burgundy leather leggings at the Nordie's half-yearly sale and I was like eh, I was doing that two years ago.

Oh wow, I really like the parka you linked! Baroque meets military. I agree with what Una said. I've softened up this last year too, though in my case it's a lot less extreme; my inner boho isn't super inner though, and comes out to play a lot in the summer heh.

Ah i wish i could view the links on my phone... I think boho has a different flavor than a few years back. Parkas, chunky cardigans, lots more ruggedness. I thin it jives really well with you outdoorsy side.

I am liking quite a few Free People tops lately, also. I just figured it was my inner teenager/young adult rasing its head again. Hmm.... I will have to ponder this.

Oh, that patterned corduroy outfit is just gorgeous! Love the sweater with it, too.

We all have the right to change... And being permanently locked in to one thing can get so boring.

I understand -- I am often drawn to boho style even as I have toughened up my look in a lot of ways. I like the items you posted, particularly that jacket, and I can see this as part of your style. I can even see you mixing some of the more delicate pieces with some of your edgier ones.

Love the corduroys and the parka--love all of it, actually. I definitely have an inner boho. You should give some of these items a whirl (even if just in store, since I think you're SYC, right?) and take pics for us. I'd love to see them on you.
