I too wear jeans and t's a lot-maybe 85% of the time. I have my jeans and tops in 3 sections. My work jeans (or rather my dog training, around the house jeans) These are worn with running shoes, loafers, flip flops, sneekers of all kinds, hiking boots, booties, and just about anything that can be worn with socks, depending on the weather and activity. These are worn with hoodies, sweat shirts, long and short sleeved t's. also they are my less expensive ones, and are everything from BF,s rolled or not, old bootcuts, and skinnies.
Next category are the better ones for casual things like shopping, out to lunch, bridge classes, etc. They are mostly worn with more on trend t's, sweaters, and sometimes other on trend tops, with nice booties either flat or heels, tall boots, sandals flat or heeled, flats, loafers, more on trend sneekers. These are sometimes more pricey ones (although I never by premium denim, as I have not found any that are worth the price) and are mostly whatever the current trends are as far as style-BF's but not baggy ones-skinnies but not sausage casings. Toppers for these range from blazers, to cardis, or my warmer coats, to a nice quilted jacket, and the white denim jacket for spring and summer. Also jewelry and scarves depending on the occasion or the type of t or sweater.
Next are what I call my dress up jeans-these are my colored ones, black, white, and burgundy. These are skinnies now, but again not sausage casings, Mostly they are worn with a few special t's, fluid woven tops, and my best blazers, or in cold weather my faux fur jacket. Always wear them with booties, flats, or sandals. Again tops depend on weather and the occasion, and there is some overflow from category 2 as far as styling them -- footwear, and toppers.
