For the first time, Lucy accompanied me to the office. It was quite an adventure! Very hot today but fortunately our workplace stays cool. Lucy was pretty good, but got impatient and started attention-barking 30 minutes before quitting time because she wanted to play. We'll work on that; I'm trying not to be reactive to barking, but also don't want to disrupt coworkers.
Ask mentioned earlier, it's hot-high 80's outside-so I wanted something breezy. Out came the only short-sleeved buy from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, an emerald green and black chevron striped faux-wrap blouse. I paired it with old favorites-a cobalt Vince Camuto knit pencil skirt and magenta patent Me Too flats. New top was perfect for weather, but the snap is a bit high for me-or rather, I need another couple snaps in the middle as I'm paranoid about my blouse falling open while I'm bending over to tend to the dog. Just a word of caution. An easy fix, though.
