They are all amazing pieces, Dashielle. The dragon shoes are fabulous.

Mine was a black and gold daytime clutch. I never, ever thought I'd embrace the trend, but I fell in love with the style and haven't fallen out of love yet. I can't believe how enjoyable it is to walk around with something in my hand. The design of this bag is such that my purse contents feel lighter despite not really being reduced at all, and I love the elegance and sophistication of the option.
The last time I tried a wild card was when I purchased my tweed cape, which has also become an all-time favourite wardrobe item. I think I'm going to have to make use of this particular piece of Angie wisdom more often.

Sharon, that orange top is the very definition of a wildcard, I'd say! That pop of color and crisp shape is wonderful--it looks terrific on you.

My wildcard was probably the amazing Catherine Maladrino ivory leather jacket I found this Fall: butter-soft, silk-lined, and patterned with dozens of little leather-covered buttons (I look at it and think: Matador, Pearly King, Bridal Gown . . . ) it is at once extremely luxurious and just outside my comfort zone. So far I've worn it with faded jeans and a t-shirt, or taupe bootcut trousers and a cream silk blouse. I have a feeling that its quirky elegance will appeal to me for a long time, and that I'll keep finding new ways to wear it.

Janet that Philip Lim burnished leather is incredible--a work of art--and, as always, those "coal garden" blues & greens are perfect for you.

Michelle, I'll look forward to seeing them!
tulle, your jacket sounds incredible. Texture and detail can make such a difference to even simple shapes.

Off the top of my head I think my wild cards have been silk track pants and the color pink, especially a bright pink trench and a baby pink cashmere hoody. Each of these was out of my comfort zone but fun.

Sharon, I love the outfit you have created with your Christmas present. It is so modern and chic and I adore the shorts. It looks comfortable yet a little dressy and perfect for hot weather. You have great legs and even though the shorts are on the short side, they look perfectly age appropriate. It gives me the courage to wear even shorter shorts. LOL. You are my inspiration when it comes to body and age acceptance. Even though I think you're a good decade my junior, you seem evolved and wise about these things.

My wildcard item was my fanny pack/belt bag!

This thread really shows how to have fun with fashion.

My wild-card was an Angie pick of a plaid flannel shirt from Old Navy. I over-wore flannel shirts in the '90s, but the updated colors of deep red and pink on the palest pink background of this shirt is so fresh and pretty I found myself grabbing it once/week or so this fall & early winter.

My wildcard was the helmut pants. Slouchy, baggy, and dropped crotch.

Joy, I bet you've worn the pink trench all the time!
Cocolion, you are very kind. Yay for wearing what you want! That fanny pack looks surprisingly dressy as well as edgy. I'm sure it is really practical, too.
Laurinda, I think you are right! Glad to see you have had fun too!
shedev, they were a real game-changer for your style, weren't they?

Love your wildcard, especially because of how you perfectly layered it over the white shirt!

For me a wildcard would be something boho, since I NEVER go there!!!

I loved everyone's wildcards above.

My wildcards are as follows: full, high-waisted skirt; shorter shorts, and hair clips.
