Yesterday I *finally* debuted those white jeans I posted, oh, months ago. I didn't get around to taking an outfit photo, but it was a simple ensemble -- classic Levis blue denim shirt, white slim jeans, striped white and navy lace up espadrilles, a blue leather cuff bracelet, and a summery multicolored beaded necklace, finished off with my red Marc Jacobs bag.

And guess what? I didn't feel self conscious at all. For the last 20 years I've avoided white jeans as being unkind to my bottom half, and at no point yesterday did I think people were staring at the glaring white expanse of my legs. In fact, I felt pretty darn good, even though it was not an exciting outfit, but it was perfect for an active work day filled with errands and studio work.

I wear so many things now that I feared before YLF -- skinny jeans, voluminous tops, colorful bottoms, etc.

What kind of fashion fears have you conquered?
