What topper will go with this dress for summer dressing?

Hello everyone! I love this dress, especially the color and the floaty vibe it gives off. I think it will be a nice summer dress which can be dressed down or up for any summer occasions that come around in the summer.

However, I am a little conscious of the very thin straps, and was wondering what topper will dress it down for the humid hot summers?

And to get more use out of it, what topper can I wear with it to dress it up so that I can get more use for it?

If you fashionable ladies could help me out, I would go get this dress immediately! I have been looking for something that can serve me for casual and dress up...

Very pretty dress Andie! I think a denim jacket would look cute over this dress or a mesh cropped cardigan or mesh bolero.

Wow this is a tough one! It's a lovely dress but really hard to give advice without seeing it on a real person. To dress it down you could try a lightweight blazer maybe in a colour like pale aqua which would look beautiful with the deep warm red. Add some flat sandals, maybe silver, and a fun clutch in citron. I hope some of the other posters have some ideas about dressing it up.

I think this is hard too. Living in a place where summers get hot and humid, I'd find a denim jacket, the ideal solution, too hot. What about dressing it down with a denim shirt tied at the waist? It could even be a sleeveless shirt. I'm thinking tied and maybe buttoned some at the bottom to cover the top ruffle but show the neckline as if it were a cami. This would only work if the ruffle is soft enough to not stand out under the shirt.
To dress it up, a little silk bolero cardi or jacket maybe?

I agree with Shannon's suggestion's. If you are wering it in the evening you might also consider a pashmina.

White denim!
But it really depends on where the waist level ruffle falls on you - as mentioned above, a bolero would get the topper up higher, with less conflict.
