I am trying to revisit my wardrobe in order to wear every single one of my clothe effectively

I struggle a bit with this simple yet cute skirt that stops a few centimeters above the knee.

It’s a blue pleated skirt

I have a pair of red sandals and a red lined white top that could do the trick.

However, I am looking for new ideas as I really like this skirt
I find that black tights would contrast too much with the dark blue, so I might wear it only in spring and summer. Plus the fabric is quite thin.
What do you think ?
