I found these two pairs of boots when i was switching my closet around. It has been years since I've worn them. They are duplicates - one brown leather, and one black suede. They must have been super comfortable at one point to warrant duplication I tried them on and they are comfortable enough to try to wear them, but i am at a loss as to how to style them the second time around. They hit mid calf and are a little wide- not tight at the calf. In the past i wore the black ones with midi skirts (longer than the top of the boots) and tights, i think i can continue to do so. I dont think a shorter skirt (one that shows any leg
even in tights) would work with these... But what about pants or jeans? I know the safe bet is to just wear them with full length jeans or pants and hide the calves, but wondering what other good options are. Outside of ankle length jeans? Rolling my jeans? Or just stick with midis? Thanks in advance! I should add that i wear wide leg jeans most of the time and my other boots are more stompy.

ETA: so i just put them on with some straight leg jeans.. i had to tuck the jeans. This was my laugh for the day... i just flashed back to my high school days in the 80s. I am sticking to midi skirts or hiding them under wide leg jeans. Too funny. (A good look for others... just not for me) Thanks for the comments!
