What to wear with new white lace dress??

Hi, Need some help & inspiration please. I just bought this dress from Urban Outfitters (but I don't think the link is working - its the Pins & Needles Lace dress in white with crochet overlay)

I need some advice on what to put with it. For your ref I have cherry red (dyed) hair in a bob & pale skin/blue eyes - therefore I wouldn't generally wear creamy colours - I'm hoping the dress won't wash me out!

My only idea at the moment is to make it more casual with a sleeveless pale blue denim jacket, red & cream patent handbag & red platform sandals with wooden soles?

All advice much appreciated.

So pretty! I wear mine with nude sandals (you can wear wedges or flat gladiators) and a denin jacket (if it's cold), if not just a nice pendant or a colorful necklace if you want more color around the neck!
If you want to dress up, you can wear color pumps (i'm thinking of cobalt blue pumps or orange) + a clutch!

I have a white lace dress... in more of a sheath style.
I've worn it 3 ways so far

navy bf cardigan, cognac belt and cognac boots
dressier with blue/turqoise necklace and nudish strappy heels
cognac lace up sandals and a gold tone multi strand chain necklace.

your idea is a good one. I think you have alot of options. I think this dress would be really cute with light colored engineer boots and a denim jacket. These aren't exactly what I had in mind, but they would be cute too

...on a more serious note: I like the suggestions above. Dressy-casual accessories that "toughen" up the outfit a little, like the above-mentioned boots and platforms. Gladiator sandals might work too. Denim jacket or casual blazer-style jacket in cotton. I think you want a juxtaposition of feminine-tougher qualities.

Ooh, fab suggestions so far - thanks so much.
I'm also tempted to wear it with my cropped black leather biker jacket, black tights & boots - but it is 'supposed' to be summer in the UK so I'm trying to be optimistic.
BTW the dress arrived today and is more of an ivory colour but I still love it - I may have to post pics when I decide on the full outfit.
Still open to any and all other suggestions from forum members

I wore it for the first time on Saturday & I'm going to try and adapt some of your suggestions for other variations. This outfit gave me the chance to break out my patent Orla Kiely bag which was languishing in my wardrobe - forgotten about!
