What to wear with new gray ponte knit pants?

I've become so used to wearing blue denim, I'm struggling to figure out what to wear with the new Inc gray ponte knit pants!

White or cream or black are the no brainers.

What else?

In particular, I'm looking for casual suggestions. I know these will work with a lot of my dressy blouses. I want to wear them on the plane tomorrow, and for that I'm thinking a knit top would be a lot more practical. But I'm finding myself stumped for some reason.

Shiny, I wear a lot of grey, and I find it goes pretty much with anything. I especially like purples, teals, berry/pink colors, all shades of blue... Yellow is a great accent color.

I would wear them in pretty much the same way you wear your skinny jeans.

I'm very warm, and am still able to wear grey with a lot of my things, so I think grey goes with almost anything. I know you look better in a cooler palette, so Tanya's suggestions are great!

I have a yellow top, from ATL, with ruffled neckline. Got it this summer, but I don't think I ever photographed me wearing it. Anyway, I tried it on with the pants and for some reason the top looks too summery for the pants? I think it is because of the material?

Yes, I am excited! I still have to pack, but I've made my list, and I'm doing laundry now. Cleaned the house last night (I can't stand coming back to a dirty house). It's going to be a schlep of a plane ride, with this cold, but we're looking forward to it.

This won't work for your immediate need of heading to HK wearing the pants, but for fall/winter, I'm hoping to score a turtleneck tunic sweater in a blue color to wear with my black ponte pants.

My favourite mix is gray and orange. It looks very fashion forward, fresh and unexpected. i love it and wear it a lot.
