What to wear with drapey shorts?

I just got a pair of black drapey shorts and I don't have a clue what to wear with them. I would like to keep it casual. Any ideas?

Do you have a picture or a link? That would help.

I plan to wear my drapey shorts with all kinds of tops -- fluid fit, button down shirts, tees....you name it.

The length might also play a part in what to pair. Any fluid top is a great option to keep the whole look fluid, especially with a semi-tuck and exposed arms for some extra structure. Fitted tops can also look good, especially with refined footwear. Oversized breezy sweaters or loose knit tees work well, as do breezy tanks with lightweight jackets over the top. Lots of options, really!

I don't have drapey shorts but I do wear baggy cotton shorts. It would really help if you post a picture! I would assume drapey shorts are loose?

I'm with Suz and Aida: fluid tops are the way to go. This is what I wear with mine. Oversized sweaters are a great option as well!

Well, I just bought olive green ones very similar. I plan on most of my tees going with them (I favor drapey tees in general) and many of my tanks. Even a light open weave sweater or two.

i think i would wear a drapey tee and semi tuck in the same way the model on the link did
