What to wear to this meeting??

Tomorrow I'm meeting with a sales manager of a boutique hotel in Chicago, where I negotiated a corporate rate for our company. I want to feel extra stylish, and hoping to get some guidance from you Fabulasses! (Fabulads too, if there are any, no sexism intended)

I am *definitely* wearing my new brown boots. Have been contemplating an equestrian look, which would be new for me but is that style fading? Should I go with a moto jacket instead? Would my faux leather pants (with brown leather boots) be too much? I have several jacket options: tan corduroy, black tuxedo, brown military and the brown velvet I wore recently (don't think I should repeat that so soon though), also a couple nice patterned jackets that sort of look like tweed I suppose, but both in cooler colors like grey/blues. I'm fairly certain that I'll wear a black turtleneck as it's the only color turtleneck I have, and am debating between the black faux leather pants, tan/cream stretch pants from my Winter Whiteout outfit, olive skinny cords, or dark denim skinnies.

I know I'm asking a lot without pictures... I've been too busy at work to pre-plan and try things on lately, so hopefully you can visualize the look I'm trying to achieve.

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!!

I found some inspiration photos... Not sure they are quite what I'm going for, but maybe will help. My company is both tech and ad/marketing, so casual is fine as long as it's classy.

Hi tr3kkie9rl. You have great pieces to choose from for a sophisticated and extra-stylish presentation. I think the equestrian/military look always gives us of the female persuasion a sharp, take-control edge, as long as the individual pieces are au courant and high quality. Since you're set on the brown boots and black turtleneck, I'd suggest going with the brown military jacket. For "bottoms," I'd select either the tan stretch pants or the olive skinny cords -- whichever looks sleeker with the boots. Black skinnies would work, too, but not as enthusiastic about the dark denim in this instance.

Absolutely still a current look. Angie had two great equestrian posts in the fall. You might especially like the "glitzy equestrian" if you're trying to use the leather pants and black tneck.

#2 is the one to me that has the biggest cool factor. It is spot on with the times.

But will cool get you what you want from them? Will it jack up the prices or will it have them jonesing for your business?

The rate has already been negotiated, so that isn't as much of an issue; this is more of a relationship-building meeting. Our CEO has been staying there for years, I'm going mainly to check out the goods so I'm more familiar and since I'm new with the company taking over for the person previously in my position.

Sad face... I realized I haven't treated the boots yet and don't want to wear them until they are properly polished and water proofed. So I went with my block heel zip booties instead (is there a better description for these?) black skinnies and my Moto jacket with some fun accessories. I'll try to post a WIW if I have time...

Gotta admit #3 is really cute! I'll definitely be wearing that sometime, just without the camel jacket. I have one, but it's more of a blazer and I wore it a few weeks ago.
