What to Wear... to Interview Students?

On Monday I'll be heading to my former college to help interview co-op students. We'll be doing interviews all day with a break for lunch. I don't want to carry a change of shoes, so I'd like to wear one of my two pairs of booties (#1) which narrows down the choices for bottoms(#2) to skirts, grey dress pants (with the black booties, the blue are too high) or my slim pants from express. #3 are my favourite top/topper options. I thought I might repeat #4 or #5, swapping the shoes for booties.

What do you think? Any outfit suggestions?

I think either of those outfits would be absolutely fine for what you've described. Is this the kind of co-op interview where the students would be likely to show up in suits? That would be my only question -- you don't want to be way more casual than the interviewees, though I think slightly more casual is perfectly okay.

Also, do you know how the room is set up? If you won't be behind a desk or at a table, make sure the skirt has enough coverage when you're seated, so you don't spend the whole day tugging and tucking it under you.

Thanks, April. The interviewees will likely be in shirts and ties, but I do not expect full suits. My boss may be in a suit, though, now that you mention it... The room will be set up with a table.

i think any of these will work, but looking at the 2 you are modeling, i feel like #5 is softer and makes you feel more approachable.
