I have really never been to FL during the winter months (isn't that awful?) What does one wear? Shorts and sandals, or are there rules to this, like no sandals because it's Feb.?

I need to start packing and planning for an upcoming vacation to central FL (two weeks away!). The temps there right now range from 70-80 during the day. What should I pack? Even though this will be a relaxing, very laid back vacay, I don't want to spend the entire week in shorts and t-shirts, I'd like to be somewhat of my newfound fashionista self!

I am going with a friend (leaving DH at home to work and take care of the pets!), we are staying at my mother-in-law's boyfriend's second house in Ocala, and we will just be taking day trips. Is anyone familiar with the area, and can you suggest things to do near Ocala or Tampa? We will also be spending one day in Tampa as that's where we're flying into/out of. I am a roller coaster adrenaline junkie, but unfortunately my friend is not, so I won't be able to drag her to Universal, which is at least an hour or more away anyhow But we both enjoy shopping and sightseeing, so, any suggestions?

Any suggestions on what to pack (wardrobe and otherwise) and things to do are greatly appreciated!
