What to wear to a daytime talk show

I am going on a daytime talk show in July, for an exclusive new show on fox. I have no idea what to wear, i was thinking a sexy summer dress. But I need some ideas on how to go about it. Thanks!

I have been to a few tapings of the Daily Show and the Colbert Report and every time both studios have been absolutely freezing. I don't know what it's like at the show you're going to, obviously, but I don't think I'd go with a dress. I mean it was so cold that I didn't even bother taking off my trench. I think I would probably go with jeans or lightweight pants, a sleeveless top, and a lightweight cardi in case it's chilly. Some perfed ballet flats would be good if you have a pair. They'll have enough ventilation to keep you cool outside, but enough coverage to keep you comfortable inside.

In the audience, I found a sexy little bebe silk tunic top and maybe so skinny jeans or shorts, definitly heels though. what do you think.

I agree with Maya - they keep you cold so you are all sluggish and can't get too rowdy.

Bring a sweater or jacket for sure.

keep in mind, you prob won't see the heels. so id think twice before wearing potentially uncomfortable shoes. unless, of course, you have easy-to-please feet.
