What to wear to a date today evening-URGENT

I am having one last date with my BF today evening before he leaves for Qatar. I am in a dilemma now as to what to wear. I am so engrossed in keeping my style simple that I do not have any wow clothes. I want to make him gush and also want him to remember me in this attire for 1 more year whenever he misses me. What should I do? Go shopping for some wow clothes, or can I just make my plain tee and jeans work. But How?

no plain tee and jeans! You can mantain you casual style but go for something more pretty. Maybe jeans, flats and a lovely silk blouse.
Or jeans and a tee with some embelishment!

Your boyfriend will be remembering you fondly no matter what you wear! Guys don't seem to be into fashion as much as we are. I wouldn't worry about buying new stuff. I saw your closet pics thread and it looks like you have a lot of cute stuff. It's hard for me to see exactly what you have but how about the turquoise top and white or dark wash jeans with some dressy sandals?

You want him to remember YOU, not your clothes. Wear whatever makes you feel good and if he has a favorite color or something he's commented he likes wear that to say you listen to him. If it were me going away I'd be comforted you were wearing something I knew so I wouldn't think about all the new things you'll do and get while I'm away that I'll feel disconnected from. Just another thought.

I would wear something you know he likes, or something that YOU love and feel wonderful in. I wouldn't buy anything new today for this, unless you particularly want to buy something as a sort of "momento" of your day together.

Have a wonderful time. I know it will be bittersweet, but let's hope the sweet outweighs the sad.

Wearing what he likes sounds perfect! In my experience guys can like simple things like a great pair of jeans. I hope you two have a great time and that the time apart goes quickly.
