What to wear at a NBA game?

This Wednesday I am going to a Dallas Mavericks game with my boy friend and his boss. We are sitting in a suite and get to meet the players before the game. I have no idea what to wear... PLease help!

Angie also likes to have a visual so would you consider posting a body shot (you can exclude your face if you're not comfortable posting it on the internet) wearing form fitting t-shirt or cami and fitted jeans? It's best to have a picture with you facing the camera and your arms down by your side.

There are plenty of people here willing to give you advice!

When we go to the Mavs games we wear jerseys!! Even when 7 months pregnant! It was fun.

If you have no Dirk (actually I wore my husband's) I think you should dress smart casual, as in you're going out for the evening in a conservative way. The flop proof outfit Angie always refers to is a good solution.

I'd stay away from showing cleavage or too much skin and from shoes that convey "I can't walk the bleacher steps in them".

Just a wild idea and not something I've seen done...could you combine smart casual and team spirit by wearing a fairly fitted Maverick tee under a dark denim jean jacket with black or cream pants or the tee under a black blazer with dark denim jeans or skirt? It would depend on the tee as to if this would work. I'd look in the boys' department. Wear cute flats or wedges.
I've found that people dress up more in the boxes than the general public does. No athletic shoes. Angie's smart casual flop proof outfit should certainly work.
