What to pair with sleeveless cardigan

Hi All, I bought a burgandy sleeveless cardigan. I'm not sure what to wear it with. I'm both apple (bug midsection) and pear (big hips and thighs).
Would a camisole work or a short sleeved white jersey tee? Or anything else?

I like this type of piece best with something sleeveless. Second choice would be a long sleeve. I have a poison eye for short sleeves with a vest (sleeveless) topper. elbow length seem ok.

If it's a wool knit cardigan, I think a long sleeve blouse would work - either cotton or a dressier silk or satin. If it is a cotton knit, I'd only put a cotton layer under it, either a blouse or tee. But, I do think, only from personal experience, that knit vest-type sweaters can add visual bulk up top.

I am with Joy on this one. I think they can look great with a sleeveless tank...or with long sleeves (tee or blouse). Somehow short sleeves don't quite work. I think elbow or 3/4 sleeves could work though.....

For an apple a draped sleeveless cardigan will work well I think.
