What to look for this season at H&M

While I'm waiting for my flight to take off for Boston (SIL's graduation), I thought it might be wise to ask everyone what I should look for this season, since I absolutely WILL be going to make it to the store. I know this has been brought up before (by Khris?) but I was just wondering if anybody has any specific suggestions for my hourglass/pear body shape. I most definitely will look for and try on the coral trench, though I doubt how much use I will have for it. Temps are already 85-90 deg here.

Vani, I hate to say it but that trench is long gone from US stores. I think I quite possibly got the last one in the world in my size.

There is a floral 50's dress. I think it came in purple. Don't know if you're into that look but it's adorable. Not my taste personally but I can appreciate it.

I also saw a denim jacket in the window today for $20. I'm going to stop by tomorrow and check out the cheek factor.

Other than that I am honestly not crazy about this season's collection, but it's mostly just because I don't like summer styles. I'm sure there will be other, more objective opinions floating around.

Which H&M are you planning to go to? The one on Newbury St. or the one in the Cambridgeside mall?

I got a cropped strong shoulder jacket a few weeks ago (might be good for pears because the strong shoulder would balance out the hip) but they've probably changed their inventory loads since then.

Maya, Yup, no trace of the trench and really not much else that caught my eye. Didn't even spot the purple dress. But it might just as well have been because I didn't have much time

Crazyone, we went to the one on Newbury and I asked about the jacket. They knew which one I was talking about but it was on sale and sold out two days ago

I get easily overwhelmed in a store like H&M by myself so I appreciate your tips more than you know. Today I just picked up a few basic striped trees and one of their cotton oversized shirts and some accessories. We're going to spend most of saturday in nyc doing a lot of annoying touristy stuff (i wish I could meet up with you and others Maya, but I'm going to be with a boatload of family, we really ought to start planning that national ylf meet up) and I'll try to pop in to an H&M if I can.
