WOW. No wonder hubs loved it. That colour dances on your skin tone. You look killer in red, Mona.

I like the fit too. Fashionable. But if you're still not feeling it - buy something else in bright red that you DO love.

You need to find a trench in this color.

I heard somewhere that red (and pink) are the *sexy* colors for both men and women. They make the heart go faster or something like that. I think your DH is reacting to the color. A too bulky sweater can be really annoying, but if I were you I would seek out that color in something else. . .

I don't have any advice for dealing with your husband, but I will say that I agree with your assessment that the sweater looks a little bulky. I also agree with the commenters who have said that the color is gorgeous on you. I would try to return this and find something else in that color.

The color is amazing on you - I think this is what he saw.
I don't mind the bulk at all but for my taste it is not fluid enough. However Angie said the fit is fine so maybe it is OK? Do you feel any different about it now?

The neckline is supposed to be worn higher up like a true turtel neck but I don't like turtle necks so I folded it down. The model is wearing it how it should be worn.
I must say that the fabrication is very nice and soft. It is not stiff at all and I think it will shrink after washing as this is 60% cotton. At this price point, I think I will keep it and wear it this season. The reason I was not liking it on me was the sleeves which wider than they should be but I can scrunch them like model. right?

I agree with you about the sleeves, but I can see keeping it to please DH and the color is fantastic.

It's a fashionable fit, Mona. Scrunching is fine as long as you don't get cold in Canada. Wear it with your cream jeans. xo

The color is great on you but I really like the style too. it doesn't make you look bulky it makes you look kind of adorable. And your husband likes it.

The color is perfect on you but I think your expression says it all - and I'd return. I know it's hard todo this once DH has chimed in but I have learned the hard way that if I don't like it I won't wear it.

Since the price is right, I think why not? Yeah, keep it for the season.

My DH rarely notices what I am wearing. If he gives me a complement I would probably keep the sweater and wear it on occasions when I will be doing something with him.

If you didn't keep this I hope you can find another item to love in this shade. It's an awesome color on you. Have you tried it with other bottoms and footwear just to see if it might strike you differently?
