What should we wear to tea?

I am so excited about how many of us will go to see the bowie exhibit at V&A in London. What should we wear to tea in this amazing tea room???

Getting excited for your trip? My DH has said for years that he'd like to travel Europe again, but only by backpack. I told him I could pack light. Sure! We hike to London, then I go shopping, buy an entire new outfit (and shoes), wear it out to dinner and the theater (um, I mean, theatre). The next morning, I pack it up and ship it home. Souvenir #1. Then, we hike to Zurich, I go shopping..............

I figure I'd have a small souvenir capsule waiting for me at home. Actually, this might be affordable in the U.S., but, sadly, I've since learned of the folly of my brilliant idea.

I think you'd better stick to your original packing plan.

Jenanded, when are you going? Family and I are going in June. Can't wait to see this. As far as tea s concerned, I always prefer smart casual. A skirt with a top and cardigan or jacket, maybe a summer dress with flats and a scarf....trousers, oxfords and a smart blazer.....

It's not as formal as it used to be. As long as you don't wear jeans, you'll be ok.

There are so many dresses you can get now that you can scrunch into a little roll, add a cardi, or moto, and a comfy pair of flats, and you are ready to go!
