lol I wasn't acutally standing on the dress!!!

RoseandJoan - We call her Thea for short her full name is Sothea, bit of a mixture of Sophia and Thea which mean "goddess" in Greek (where my husband is from).

I am pretty comfy with the outfit, well almost, could have done with the next size of shoes but after trying every branch in Dubai I settled for squeezing lol! what we do to try and look good! or should I say fab!

Lovely dress! I did like the black shoes, but can see why the purple is a good option for the event.
The Chanel inspiration photo was lovely. Have you considered staying pale and creamy and wearing a bold red lip and champagne cream eyeshadow?

I have never worn red lipstick in my life! It scares the hell out of me if I am being honest! lol! The chances of me staying pale after 3 weeks in Cyprus is slim to nil. I know its bad for me but I adore lying in the sun. I will probably go for fairly neutral makeup, and a gloss lip, might try reddy shade but not sure it really suits me.

I think everyone can wear a red lip it is just finding the right colour for your skin tone and hair colour. I find Revlon Red is a suit all shade which was worn by the movie stars in the golden age of Hollywood.

I also love red lips because it simplifies my make up routine. I wear concealer where needed, add one coat of brown/black mascara and my red lipstick (which I wear as a stain) and i am ready to leave in 90 seconds.

The christening may not be occasion to try red lips for the first time but I urge you to give it a try.
