Ok, I’m just super lazy. Too lazy to photo my actual clothes. I googled and did a screenshot. This is my orange Victoria Beckham for Target skirt. I have seven, lol. It has a giant pocket that fits my phone, handy as an apron for work. Admittedly, I haven’t worn them since the beginning of summer, when I found leggings with pockets that will hold a giant phone. They’re dying anyways. However, that orange was an anchor, pulled a lot of crazy pattern together. I could use something else orange tbh that would serve the same way. Can’t be a sweater though. Dough does not come out of sweaters. Maybe I should look for a real apron.

Cool skirt Rachy!
Well it was the woman who loved bright colours’ funeral today. My husband had known her since he was 17, he is now 62, so a long time. Her daughter, who was also 17 when they all met, is our good friend. Turns out orange was her favourite colour so I did wear the dress and sandals even though a bit cold for it ( cold rainy Spring still some days). When I got back to work after 3.5 hours off I put the heat pump on! The cardigan helped a bit. Lots of people wore bright stuff as instructed. Lovely flowers and a choir and hand bells to see the coffin out. She was musical as well as creative with cake decorating and such.

Rachy - 7 skirts - that is some serious duplication! It is a good design, hopefully they will repeat in the future.

Jenni - a lovely outfit. I hope you get to wear this as the weather heats up. I wear my summer dresses with ankle boots in the Spring, as I find if my feet are warm, it keeps the rest of me warmer.

Jenni, what a wonderful way to support your friend and honor her mother! I like the way the pattern in the dress works with your hair. Great shoes too (of course, because it's you)

It's definitely inspiring to see how many great orange item previous commenters own: orange is a colour I do enjoy, and I think it's a colour I can wear...yet I can't find a single orange item in my wardrobe!

Orange is not a good color on me, but I do have one dazzling orange slip dress I couldn't resist.

Stagiaire Fash - I thoroughly agree.

Aurore - it looks like you may need to add some orange into your wardrobe.

UmmLila - you look sensational in your slip dress and perfect matching accessories - the bag is stunning too. You could be out of a fashion shoot.

Fist bump to Bijou !

Orange is not a favorite color of mine. I do have a few pieces in darker/softer shades like cinnamon, since I like how they go with the blues and greens I have. And I have a few accessories in a cognac color. That's it for me! I love coral pinks and salmon pinks but they're still pink, not orange.

I have one or two orange bangles. And a pair of candy corn earrings.

Ginger, your cognac leather pieces and cinnamon are lovely.

Barbara Diane, that is a minimal orange collection and a great way to wear a colour that is outside your preferred palette.

How did I miss this thread! I’ve been looking to grow my orange capsule, and this thread is a treasure trove!

Only one orange garment in my closet, atm.

I have a very big yen for this hoodie from a brand that supports the causes of the late, great American tennis champ, Arthur Ashe.
