Lucy's shopping adventures:
Had a beagle Halloween meetup to attend and needed a costume. Humans Tried out an awful bumblebee costume that I rejected. I did not feel fab even though they insisted I looked adorable. Many costumes didn't fit my long, barrel chested, narrow body or dragged on the ground. It's not easy to be a short legged, long dog when shopping for canine clothing.
We compromised on a black sparkly spiderweb witch hat and rainbow sequin collar with jingle bells. It passed the comfort test and was durable enough to survive chases with many other beagles, and rolling around in the grass. We received many compliments from the human attendants at the party, and I liked the noise the collar made when I shook my head or ran!
