What lenght tunic to wear ?

I'm 186 cm tall, and this is what I look like:

So, should I wear tunic-length tops ? How long ?
I got lot of conflicting advice on the net: They say that pears should wear tunics that almost reach the knees. But won that just make me shorter ?

Or maybe I should forget about tunics altogether ?

As a very tall woman, I wouldn't worry too much about making yourself look a little shorter.

But as a pear - I would advise that tunics reach that point of your thighs that I can see in your pics, where they narrow - this will be flattering, avoid tunic tops that end at the widest part of your hips.

You don't need to go all the way to your knees (that's called a dress).

I'm not quite as tall as you are, but I am also a tall pear and was frustrated in deciding if a tunic was a flattering thing on me. Angie wrote a helpful bit about this here:

I haven't looked hard enough to find success with tunics. I know there's a good fit and length out there for me, so I'll continue to try garments on until I get a good feel for how it should look.

In mu opinion, a fairly safe length for anyone is mid-thigh, where thighs tend to be pretty slim. Also, they shouldn't be clingy, more of an A-line. But I guess the best would be to try one a bunch of styles and see. With your height, I can see that a lot of mini dresses could work as tunics for you.
