Elle, it isn't sheer in the way that you would absolutely need a camisole, so don't let that be the thing that discourages you. The flower placement keeps it from bra show-through. It's just that, see at the bottom near the waist where there are no flowers...just the pink base color has the show through. It's just that black pants are my mainstay, and you can see the black and waistband right through. If you can wear this with white it would be fine I think. If, as Thistle warns, you wear white enough!
BC, I have the NYDJ tops in sleeveless, but not this sleeved one. I hope it is comparable because I love the ones I've bought this summer.
Elizabeth and Suz, I didn't order the coat. It's a great weight for my climate, but yes...quite a lot for what is not a need. I have good coats. But, that doesn't mean I've ruled it out yet!
