Hi Fabbers,

Just for fun. What is your favorite, high happiness factor, outfit this year? Can you transition the outfit into Fall? Does it make you happy because it has special pieces? Do you have a great pic of it you want to share?

This isn't a great pic of my favorite outfit for the moment, but I felt good in it. Pretty but not too precious to squish my kids.

That is a lovely outfit, no wonder if your favorite.
I do not have a one particular one, more of an favorite outfit formula: fluid top, semi tucked, slim BF jeans, belt and trendy but comfy footwear. I have attached a couple of versions.

Nice idea for a thread! Love the perfect length of your midi skirt and pointy shoes. This outfit of mine was one I wore a few times over the Summer and did show on the forum. The fine mesh linen top was a new addition and my first really draped-front one. I felt fab in the colour and love the light feeling of the texture. White jeans were a no-brainer with it and I felt good all day. I'm not sure if I could make it work for Fall. Hmmm, I do have nude booties and could perhaps try my denim jacket over it.

What a terrific question and what a pretty outfit, Columbine! I agree with your assessment of it.

It's impossible for me to pick a favourite of the year. It's hard enough to pick 10 favourites at the end of a year. So I will stick with just this season.

My answer would be a lot like Tanya's, I think. I am not sure I have a favourite outfit but I do have a favourite silhouette, and it's exactly the same as hers. Except with shorts most days. (Pic 1)

Another favourite standby is a loose silk top with a slim bottom. (2 and 3). I also have a couple of silk tops that I semi-tuck more like photo 1.

My super faves so far this year are (1/2) this stripes-with-floral outfit I copied from Pinterest early in the summer, and (3) this white-skirt-and-curly-hair copycat from January.

Tanya, your outfit formula really suits you; I think the plaid version with the silver shoes was my fave. Diane, I like the color and shape of the drape top for you, and the pants look great too. Suz, I'm always won over by your color palette and the fit of your outfits. MsMary, I love stripes and floral and your black and white version is fab. It's so much fun to see your fave outfits, ladies!

I have one favorite top: a tailored, sleeveless button down oxford. Whatever I pair with the top, is my favorite outfit. It will transition out of my closet at the end of this month and then I will be without a favorite. Sigh.

Btw. I am not fan of duplicates, but this is one time that I wish I had bought more.

Fun thread! I love everyone's faves!

Although I'm trying to get away from black, and this outfit is a departure from my twisty mod classic go- to look, this outfit is super comfy and generates compliments. I feel great when I wear it and I like compliments!

I just got back from the most glorious week on the jersey shore. The weather was perfect, and it was the most relaxed week I've had in the past 3 years. So my "outfit" is a selfie of my new sunnies and favorites baseball cap. Not much fashion, but....happiness was 10+

Probably the night of our Mad Men Party. I had my hair done, my Mum's pearls on, and wore my Bailey 44 (?) Anthropologie dress which I bought on holiday in the US last year... along with my old but favourite black pointy toe pumps.
I don't have a great pic at all, which is a real shame.

At first I was stymied, but then I remembered my trip home to Tahoe in March. My Vince suede leather pants with BCBG oversized cream sweater.
Worn for BF's mom's 80th celebration dinner and then silliness at the Pub with friends afterwards.

Probably what I wore to my job interview-- wide leg charcoal wool slacks with my red chelsea boots, black drapey turtleneck and black drapey leather jacket. I felt myself, comfortable, and highly presentable.
