Seriously I can't recommend this brand enough

I wore their rose gold oxfords for a date. As I walking down the Pike Place Market Hill climb (Basically a huge multi-block staircase). My date texted me to change meet up location over a mile away. I walked there with no problems.
Also my low heeled LD Tuttles.

Cciele, there's something so nice about a pair of well-broken-in boots, isn't there?

Shedev, I went to the Steve Madden website and found those boots. They sure look like they would be durable and stand up to a lot of wear! They have a color they call "denim blue" that is really cool!

Anna, I love rose gold!

What an informative thread! I would echo my Frye harness boots are also super comfortable for hours, as are my Aquatalia boots. Oh, and my La Canadienne booties too. Hmmm....there is something about boots in general that work for me. Less spots to rub or worry about a perfect fit since the entire foot is encased.

If I am going to be out all day somewhere, but these are really not a summer shoe. but I love them have 3 pairs

I'm not really sure if this goes in the "comfort" or "non-comfort" shoe thread, but I consider these more of a fashionable shoe than a walking shoe, so I'll post it here. I have two. First up is a pair of Anne Klein "Blanche" leopard print flats, and I wore them for walking all day at the Boston meet-up. The second pair is a pair of Sam Edelman silver cap toed flats that I purchased at The Rack while in Boston. This pair is falling apart way too early and SE said they would take a look at them and consider a refund (at my own shipping expense) but I am finding it hard to give them up as they are supremely comfortable!

Aquamarine, if it weren't for my scrawny calves, I would agree with you about the perfect fit on boots being easier. But I will completely agree with you that I have found booties easier to fit than some other types of shoes, for the reason you mentioned.

Chadya, I have never tried Dankso clogs. I know a lot of people really like those.

Karie, those flats are cute! And they certainly do belong in this thread, because they are a comfortable shoe that doesn't look like a comfort shoe. I think I remember your thread about these shoes—or you posted a pic somewhere about them. Maybe you can wear them until they're dead and THEN send them to SE for your money back.
