I was looking at Una's post on her new beautiful bag and it got me thinking about how elusive that perfect bag is. I've been on "bag hunt" for many years. I do not swap out my day bag and unless it's a very dressy event, I usually expect it to work for dressy casual evenings. My criteria was precise it needed to be a soft but structured bag. Ideally it would 9-10 in length, 3.5 - 4 in width, 7-8" height. It needed to be crossbody but elegant and I prefer some texture to the leather to hide scratches and a top handle was high on the want list. Of course it had to come in black with silver hardware. It needed to have a secure closure but easy of access, cell and key pockets and an interior zip secure pocket. A second pocket would be a plus. Most bags run either bigger or smaller than this size. I was looking for the smallest size bag everything would fit in. After 5 yr on the hunt I finally found my little leather soulmate. She's the Coach Madison Annabelle and as soon as I found her coach discontinued this bag despite the rave reviews. Fortunately, I was able to find a second on ebay (for those who remember my rationing post - this was duplicate or die!!) Have you found your perfect bag and what makes it perfect for you?
