Aside form this skirt I duplicated my silk tunics from Le Chateau: I bought the teal one first and loved it so much so when I saw indigo one I bought it too.
Also Gap leans - navy and faded black washes.
I think this is it aside from some underwear.

I think I only have duplicates of layering pieces right now. Hardly crack, more like necessities. 2 burnout AE tanks and 2 Target turtlenecks. I used to have several Levi 518 jeans but now have just one pair left that I made into capris. I prefer variety in my jeans these days Oh, wait, I do have 2 pair of Dickie's girl low rise work pants, for the pub and golf course jobs - black and khaki respectively.

Me Too "Element" pumps in different colors (4 pair) and Dr. Scholls "Habit" flats (also 4 pair). I would continue to buy these if they come out in other colors that I can use. Both are so comfortable that they are 8 hour+ shoes.
I've also got at least 6 Eileen Fisher basic silk tanks in different colors and 2 in black that are different lengths. I love them as layering pieces and snap them up if they go on deep discount.

Hester skirts, made by a local designer. I've got three -- two denim ones and a burgundy cotton twill. They're hard-wearing, flattering, and go with everything. Best thing ever with boots and tights!

I don't count sleeveless shells and camisoles as "crack," because they're nondescript and necessary, but I own many duplicates of those.

I have the Madden Girl Sursey pumps in 7 colors. And the Jessica Simpson Oscar pumps in 3 -- gold snakeskin, gray reptile, and leopard! LOL Plus at least three other non-identical patent pumps. And Frye Rory boots in red and black.

I have the Old Navy long sleeved layering tee in several colors, and the Halogen seamed skirt in 4, looking for the fifth. I have a basic Halogen blazer from the Rack in 2 colors. DKNY skinny jeans in black and dark blue. I have duplicates of at least 2 or 3 cardigan styles. Just bought the new Halogen "girlfriend" cardi in 3 colors and think I'm gonna keep 'em all. And I have a perfect Evan Picone cocktail dress in both purple and black/white polka dots.

Wow, that's a lot. I'm surprised.

Good question, DressLover. I know I have some, yet I honestly can't remember what they are at the moment. I'm a bit of a hoarder deep inside.

I've been on the verge of duplicating some shoes I think. Otherwise it's mainly basic layering pieces like perfect color camis, undergarments, casual tees in multiple colors (for lounging and working out). Probably some jeans. Tights/hose. Possibly silk blouses.

Tabi sweaters. I have one in the same colour but one is wool and the other is acrylic. I have done this on multiple of their sweaters and others in different colours but the same style.

Fab tee shirts from UK's Hobbs. Although I'm slowly moving away from tees, those are so fantastic with their double front layer that prevents clinging in all the wrong places, the colors are beautifully saturated and they look equally great layered or worn on their own, so I'll probably purchase it again in yet another good color.

I'm waiting for the opportunity to try one thing though, I could see myself getting really addicted to BB button downs, especially the white one - I feel like I can't have enough of the white button downs.

And that Halogen pencil skirt... I wish, oh I wish...

The Halogen skirt is my one obvious drug of choice, but in general, boots have become my crack. Wrap dresses could be next if I could find a few I like in the right price range.

@RoseandJoan - Yes! As an unabashed multi-tasker, YLF is great crack. This forum has the perfect pace - I dislike those forums where there are almost no replies and then the ones where everyone is posting at the same time and threads get pushed off the front page in a matter of minutes.

@Beth - Wrap dress crack? Come partake of my stash!

@chewy - I definitely agree with this. I enjoy the hunt for a great piece and knowing you found the perfect item.

I haven't been shopping as much since my kids are home for the summer, so no specific items I can think of, (although I'm normally a total duplicater) but I'm totally obsessive about checking 'style' blogs lately. It's getting a little out of hand and I'm probably going to have to ban myself from my computer!

Well, as for multiples of an item, it used to be David Khan "Lauren" jeans -- I even bought a couple of pairs on eBay because they disappeared from stores. Now, all but one pair of them are either faded and worn or too big.

But if we're just talking about general types of items, shoes are a weakness for me. And leather jackets. And statement jewelry.

If we're not talking pure duplicates, zipper adornment wins out, hands down. Coats, purses, shoes, pants, dresses, tops, skirts - I have all of these items with zippers. Almost added a swimsuit this year but decided that was over the line!

it used to be jcrew trousers. then I got sick of those and gave most of them away. then it became VS cotton sweaters because they were so fitted. now it's dELIAs Alexa trousers. actually the VS boyrunners are awesome too, they don't leave panty lines and you don't have to wear a thong and feel something in your crack all day long just so you can avoid panty lines. then again the VS lace cotton panties are great too. wow I have such a shopping problem.

For a while, it was BR Jackson fit pants, then Gap curvy fit. I think I have a pant problem in general, actually - I spent so many years not being able to find good-fitting ones, that I developed a reflex of trying on anything promising. Now I tend to buy any pants that fit well whether I need them or not - thankfully that's still a minority of the pants available in the stores.

I have a couple AT short-sleeved v-neck cardigans which are nearly identical if bought a year apart. I own a bunch of ribbed tanks for layering most of which are from Eddie Bauer. I often duplicate jeans, if there are two colors/washes I like, or get a regular and a tall, one for flats and one for heels.
