When I sit down, especially if I sit on the floor, the jeans slip down and my rear is exposed.
In almost every pair of jeans I've ever owned I have this problem. Doesn't seem to matter low rise or not. A belt tight enough to give me a muffin top will stop it...but then I have muffin top. I have tried cheap brands and expensive brands, bigger sizes and smaller sizes. Heck, I've been bigger sizes and smaller sizes in the time I've been struggling with this!
The only pair that ever didn't have this problem is a pair of Citizens of Humanity high rise straight cut with a button fly (arley). I ruined mine in the washing machine and now I can't find them anymore in my size.
I have a wide flat bottom and a lot of times, when viewed from the side, the back rise is lower than the front, even though it's supposed to be higher.
I've tried the usual mid-rise suspects Paige Hidden Hills, Kut from the Kloth, and Levis Curve ID. I just bought Paige "Kylie" on sale yesterday (supposed to be mid-rise 8.5 inches) but they have this problem and will have to go back, I think.
Any suggestions?
