Basically, if you have a strong shoulder line and slimmer hips, then chances are you're an IT. But, the very best way to tell is to try some classic silhouettes for your shape, and for the one you're uncertain of. Post them and we'll see which one looks more flattering! Ie, try a jacket that has shoulder pads and a single button at the waist. If you look like a linebacker, you're an IT.
