What is the difference between Modern Classic and Euro Chic?

I'm working on pinning down my style. So far I know I'm an Urban Minimalist with Arty Eclectic leanings. It's the third part of my leanings -- the one that goes toward a little more polish, though definitely nothing stiff or too ladylike -- that I'm a little uncertain about labeling.

I'm thinking the right descriptor might be Modern Classic or Euro Chic. What, to your mind, is the difference (or even the similarities) between the two?

(UPDATE: It occurred to me only after I had already posted the question to do a search on this site for "Euro Chic." That search basically answered my own question.)

When I think Euro Chic, I think sneakers a lot like Campers, lighter-weight denims, and red-but-not-bright windbreakers with blue and green stripes. Students hanging out and meeting up in museums. Either that or French Chic involving lots of darkest navy.

Modern Classic I think of as being more, I don't know, grown up? You're not still reading Sartre and arguing about Nietzsche. You have work.

And, actually, I found my own answer with a search for "Euro Chic" on this site. (Of course, it didn't occur to me to do that search until AFTER I had posted the question, LOL.)

According to Angie from this thread (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-euro-chic) two years ago asking what the difference is between Modern Classic and Euro Chic:

“Euro Chic is more Urban. No heels. Euro Chic is VERY Modern Classic though - just a little more gritty and practical.”

Also, per Angie from two years ago in this thread (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-euro-chic):

“It's a look that's: casual, simple, fashionable and practical in a dressy way - with a wee bit of drama thrown into the mix. Always good bag and shoes. Always good quality clothing. More Polished than RATE. Not too many accessories. Light make-up. A little trendy, and very urban. More neutral than colourful. Shoes are often flat or low heeled (most European people commute on foot on cobbled stones).”

Haha, I see my answers change depending on context - how broad a net I think we're casting, whether we're talking "leanings" or not, comparisons, etc. etc. Just where my mind is at.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, Danskogirl. This is intriguing enough to inspire me to want to investigate more--it isn't quite the picture I had in my mind for Euro Chic.
