what is my body type?

Hi,
I'm not sure what my body type is.
My measurements are 35'-27'-38' if I measure around the widest part of my hips/behind.

Bethany, Can you provide us with a photo? Your measurements could be hourglassy with a pear tendency, but it's hard to say w/out seeing your shoulders to hip ratio.

This isn't enough information. Your cup size, shoulder width, height, and where you carry your weight will all make a difference. I'm 32-26-36 but I'm not a pear because my weight is mostly in my bum and not my hips.

Yes, I see that I didn't include enough information. The 35-27-38 measurement alone was deceiving, because I'm definitely not a pear.
I'm 5'6'', my bra size is 36C. My shoulders are quite broad-- definitely wider than my hips.
From the front, my waist looks almost the same width as my hips. My lower body weight is mostly in my backside rather than hips.
I'm not sure how to include a photo.

Welcome Bethany and thanks for asking THE question Nicole.

So it sounds like you wear the same size on the top and on the bottom. Hmmm, you could be rectangular. Hard to tell without a photo. I can’t tell from your measurements how straight you are. Use photobucket to help you upload pics onto this site.

What's my body type? I'm 54, 5'2", 140 lbs.
My measurements are 37-39-41 Bra size A, shoulder width 16" and my inseam is 27" I carry most of my weight in my belly (definately not my chest!) I have always had trouble because my chest is smaller than my belly...and I have that "muffin top" I have medium length brown hair, which I have colored--it's mostly grey now.

Your waist comes in a lot, which I envy, and your hips are quite curvy, so you can't be an inverted triangle. I agree with hourglass.

It is confusing. When I first came here I thought I was a pear, then some weird hybrid of a pear, rectangle, and hourglass. Now I know I'm an hourglass but I still cheat and dress like a rectangle.
