My husband and I ran into Nordstrom the other day and as always the sale racks just reached out and grabbed me. I could do nothing but submit to their screams and take a peek at the goodies.
I saw this dress, tried it on, and promptly fell in love. I am stalking it now and being not so subtle about the fact that it's on my Christmas list.

FWIW, the dress isn't nearly as shiny looking in person and I think it looked better on me than on the model. At least my husband thinks so. :X I can think of several ways I'd wear it.

Wow, gorgeous dress! I love that there are so many colors in it, you could pick out any one of them to accent and make an entirely different feel.

Oh gosh, I am pining for so many things. Practically, i need at least 3 more pairs of flat, closed toe shoes for winter. I am stalking a couple pair of boots, and think I might by this pair if they restock in my size. http://www.zappos.com/chinese-.....ck-leather

I also need a couple cardis in different colors, and I am desparately searching for a good day-time winter dress. I can't seem to find the right one though.

Nothing! I can't find anything to pine over! I looked at AT and ATLoft today given the 40% off and couldn't find a thing I loved in my size. January sales, however, will be another story.

Hahaha, yeah I have been less than impressed with the sales and selection right now as well, Laura. I did order 2 things off the ATL clearance, though I am skeptical about fit.

I've been drooling over this pair of shoes, which are totally impractical for me. I'm a stay-at-home mom who lives in flats. Heels get worn to church and out for dinner on occasion. I just love them, but they'd sit in my closet.

I keep on drooling over stuff that is never on sale. By the time it goes on sale, I’m bored with the look and am onto the next thing. It’s a fashion buyer thing and I still suffer from it.

I also have the awful knack of always liking and picking up the most expensive thing in a store. I really wish it wasn’t like that :0(

Angie, I loathe my expensive (to me) taste.
What I loathe more is that I grow tired of things so easily. There is a huge pile of stuff in my closet that I want to get rid of, but the thing is, all were purchased within just this last year.
This is part of the reason I'm going on a ban of sorts because I can't afford to rent clothes, heh.
I think it's good for me to pine for something because then I know I really want it and will wear it. I have so many things that I was torn about returning or keeping, that are now in my give away pile.

The only thing I'm pining over at the moment is a crisp white tuxedo shirt that fits me perfectly, is quite cheap but I'm just so worried that I would never wear it!
