What I Wore, Bought and Tried On

I have a day alone (WITHOUT CHILDREN!) and so I found myself at Super T, and a few other stores. Because the kids left early this morning (to go to work with their dad), I didn't get a WIW pic until I was in the dressing room- it's not such a good photo, but I like the outfit:

new Apt 9 shoes from Kohl's,new Axcess pants from Kohl's, lace top from Forever 21, cardigan from Old Navy and bracelet from American Eagle Outfitters

I had been looking for a cheap, warm weather handbag, and I found this Kenneth Cole Unlisted purse at a local discount store this morning. It's exactly what I needed, feels good even though it isn't leather, and the price was right- plus PYTHON PRINT!

As Angie commanded, I tried on some skinny cargo pants. Not sure if I love these, but I also tried on another pair that I couldn't even get on my leg. Oof! I guess that's what you get for trying on pants at Target.

Oh- and I found the olive green dress from my Target woven dresses thread the other day, but I forgot to take a picture of it. It's delectable. You really have to check out Target if you're looking for dresses. They had a nice lined sheath dress, too- not for pears since it was tight across my hips.

#1 is gorgeous on you!

Based on your recommendation, I checked out Target's dresses the other day and saw quite a few I liked, but with nursing a little one, most dresses aren't a go for me this summer.

I was just at Target today too! I saw those pants and totally thought of Angie's pants post lol. No trying on since i had my son with me. I did walk out with a purple/black/grey ombre cheetah print scarf though. <3

Love that purse! Awesome find. I don't think i'm the biggest fan of those Target pants. Though i am not an expert on them by any means.

Yes Angie- those are the skinnies that nobody really liked. I think I have learned my lesson and will only take photos of my whole body in pants rather than the lower half only. Maybe I will go back and get the skinny cargo's sometime.
Kelly- I think it runs typical for Target stuff- which is a little big. It's funny- the other one that I tried on was the print, and it was much shorter. That's why I snapped this one up today- the length is perfect.

Love those cargo skinnies, did you say pear? I may have to check those out! And also I am loving the new handbag, great light color for summer. I often have a problem with Target sheath dresses, by the time I find a size to fit my thighs, the rest of the dress is WAY too big and long on me.

I love the pants in #1, I prefer those to the ones with pockets in #3, but that is just my opinion. That handbag is amazing!!

I like everything on you and love the bag with the outfit you wore shopping. I must check out Target dresses. A thrifted fit'n flare dress of theirs looks like it was tailored for me. I hope that they still have the same fit.
Last year I brought home three pair of their skinny cargo pants in different colors, all the same style. One fit well and the other colors had to be returned. The one I kept got lots of wear and held up fine. I expect to be able to wear it again this summer.
