Ok. Well, I went and tried on the dress... and it wasn’t a dress, but top and skirt... And it just looked terrible on me. In both M and S... of course the one time they have my sizes in something I’m particularly interested in, and they still don’t work.

But of course, the lady was so nice and helpful and I like her style so much, I let her suggest some things and came away with snakeskin silky joggers, a tee of sorts, and a very fitted denim dress... of which I have no pics.

I’m digging for it here, but I did at least reject two dresses... one of which was extremely pretty, but pretty being a thing I’m intent on avoiding...
