And did not buy.

Saw this in the window. Thought they'd be cute with tights. Tried both colors in a medium. The warm cinnamon looked horrid on me. The waist is elastic, it fits at the hips but flares out unattractively in the upper thigh. I'm not very hippy, but stay away if you have any hips.

Tried this in a medium in black and white. Thought it would be cute with the black lace shorts. I think if I had sized up it might of worked, but it was just eh for $88. Also not the highest quality lambswool.

Can't find them on the site, but they had red and grey nordic/Fair Isle sweater pants. Tried in the medium, but they fit like leggings. Also very high acrylic content, and itchier than they should have been given the fiber mix.

I did however get my Frye ankle boots reheeled.

I use this logic with my husband when he thinks I'm buying a lot of stuff (admittedly not recently). "You think I'm buying a lot," I say, "but you have no idea how many things I saw that I DIDN'T buy."

J. Crew has fair isle sweater leggings, they look really cute but I think they have a lot of acrylic, too...

I saw the fair isle leggings and they were cute but too much for the south!

J.Crew factory has a stripe, lambswool sweater like that minus the cable detailing. Meh.
