After the ‘5 Colour Combos’ blog post I was inspired to play with my Finds to see if I could come up with some similar outfits. I liked the green and chartreuse outfit with the leopard print footwear. I don’t have chartreuse bottoms (do you? ) but I did make an outfit with black pants - which meets the brief for today’s blog post.
It’s still warm and I’m milking shorts outfits and breezy dresses while I can - but I plan to wear the outfit below to Bridge night soon!
I don’t have a huge wardrobe, but it’s substantial enough, and I’m thinking more about how to remix things I have in new and interesting ways. You are very good at doing that, Carla. I love a good leopard print and think it adds a nice pop to most outfits.
That's going to be a lovely bridge night outfit. And no I do not own chartreuse pants either! Substituting them for a green top instead is a great idea.
Should be a fab combo to debut as the weather cools. I agree that shoes can really make an outfit, sadly though, my feet don't always agree with my more stylish choices
Oh I like this! I don't own any chartreuse or moss green for fall/winter but would LOVE a sweater or French Terry sweatshirt in that colour . My leopard sneakers don't get much wear and I need to rectify that. They are a fall/winter item though because they are dark and 'hairy" (lol) ....a limiting factor I didn't consider when purchasing them. Now you've planted a seed in my head......gee thanks
I found that blog post inspiring in how I’m thinking about dressing for fall. While I’m definitely leaning in to browns this year, I am planning on incorporating some brighter pops of pink, greeny-yellow or maybe ceruluean as accents.
Really nice. And thanks to you I picked up a light mossy green knitted vest/sleeveless sweater the other day. I think I'll try it with my leopard barrel jeans , sneakers and a light wash denim shirt jacket thing.
I love chartreuse when it is the right item--for me that would be going in more of a fluorescent, techno direction. But it is funny to think about "chartreuse bottoms--"how many of us have that?? Incidentally, there was a find a while back that I admired from J. Crew--this gauzy chartreuse skirt.
