I hope/assume that a lot of these won't work for me, by the law of probability and because the total definitely exceeds my budget. I usually do a lot of ordering and returning during NAS, but this year I allowed myself to bump up the single-item price point a bit.

1) Mint and/or teal toppers are a must-try for me. I ordered two teal/dark green motos and two mint trench/topcoat type jackets. If by some miracle one from each category works out, I'll sacrifice elsewhere because this is a real HEWI for me.

2) I broke my unofficial rule of "don't buy sweaters over $100 in case the moths get to them" for a Nordstrom Signature navy tweed cashmere pullover. A splurge item for me; it all depends on how this drapes on me in person. I love the look of oversized sweaters but being petite with a small bust makes them difficult to fit.

3) The Aquatalia sock booties were my top pick from the catalog, but I talked myself out of including them in the first midnight order, due to price. I do really want a comfortable high-shaft fitted bootie, though, and the 2.5" heel on this one is my upper limit for daytime shoes (last year most sock booties seemed to have sky-high heels). Chose the black over sapphire, as unique as the navy color is, because I've been happily adding black neutrals to my wardrobe of late. Black footwear bookends my hair and goes with all of the other black pieces in my wardrobe, so it's a no-brainer. I've decided to embrace black as my best dark neutral.

4) My preferred light neutral, on the other hand, is a cool taupe that can be hard to find. Trying out two pairs of Blondo short booties and/or sneakers, to that end. The Lanka booties seem to lean a bit grey in the product photo, but taupe is untrustworthy in photographs.

5) Denim: trying the Frame dark wash side-slit skinnies, which will be full length on me. I'm mostly set on jeans for this coming season though, so they'll need to be 10/10 to keep.

6) Two Gibson cozy fleece sweaters: a black cardi that I intend to wear buttoned as a pullover, and a bright blue blouson sleeve. I seem to be into bright clear colors and blouson sleeves... also picked up a red Halogen blouson sleeve jacket and a Vince Camuto blouse with belled cuffs.

7) Patterned wildcards... Trouve kimono top and Halogen midi skirt, because I LOVE these particular prints. I need to figure out what kind of top to wear with the midi skirt, though. It's styled in the photos with a neutral sweater, and I can definitely see it with a cashmere sweater + tall boots. But I'd like to have a summer top pairing for the skirt too.
