So I returned the "pineapple crotch" skirt and the ill fitting sandals today to my local thrift store, which has an exchange only policy. I looked around the store a bit to see what was possible for my exchange and found two items I'm positively giddy over.
The first is a Danier Leather black croc handbag with purple lining. I have a love for handbags and have slowly been building a variety of handbags and have been fortunate to thrift many good quality leather purses. Strangely enough I didn't have a plain black purse so this will very nicely fill that hole.
The second item is a vibrant print lightweight cotton blazer (no label unfortunately) that makes me smile. This will not be everyone's cuppa that's for sure but that's ok. I'm showing it with my white jeans (which are now looking kind of wrinkly after 11 hours of wear!) as an example but can see it with any shade of denim, my denim skirt, over a dress, etc.
(Suz - hubby said it looked like "sexy Carmen Miranda"! - lol)
Anyway....done thrifting for a while. Need a break. What do you think of my treasures?
