I was very disappointed by what was available the day I could finally shop. Nearly everything was sold out. I bought the North Face hoodie, and several camisoles. I thought the camisoles were the same as the ones I bought before. They were a different brand! However, they’re fine. The hoodie took forever to arrive, but it’s a keeper. It’ll be nice for winter, as we keep our house cool.
I ordered the red Pendleton raincoat. It was beautiful, but didn’t fit across my shoulders. I should just give up on trench coats. I ordered the Pendleton duffle coat. I know, I already have a duffle cost. This one is pretty cool. It’s a little sleeker than my other one, and it has a membrane for wind, and it’s also water repellant (not waterproof). And it has a cool hidden pocket in the sleeve, for I don’t know - a key, money, a credit card? We’ll see. I think it’ll be very useful in my real life. Or whatever my real life becomes.
Another thing I bought: a new mattress pad. This one is cool to the touch. We’ve been using it for the past couple weeks. I recommend it for those who have had just about enough of this hot weather!
