I don’t really have in-person shopping buddies to share the thrill of new purchases with, and I think I have a low threshold for new stuff. I get used to it quickly and then want to go out and buy something more new just to get the thrill of it. I didn’t use to be this way so much. I thought maybe if I photographed things and posted about them I would spread out the “new car smell” for a little longer.

So I think this is all the things (clothing-wise) I bought this month. It’s funny how you realize you’ve actually spent more than you might think, just a little at a time.

I’ve already posted about my new bag and denim jacket (which lost a button in the wash the first time I washed it, sigh, but I found it and will sew it back on). Both each about $20 at Marshall’s.

Chambray shirt, LLBean, ~$25 but functionally free with rebate coupons - this just came the other day and I’m really pleased. I’ve been looking for a chambray shirt that fit all my requirements since they started coming back in and finally found one that works.

I hope this isn't too weird, like a bad haul video on YouTube; I really like seeing what other people have posted about their purchases.
