Nothing too exciting to report here, but want to continue to track my shopping and general fashion feelings.
Overall I remain very happy with my wardrobe which easily fulfills my needs both expected and not (in the case of a recent funeral). Upcoming fun challenge: a Stevie Nicks concert that my daughter wants to dress thematically for.
Recent Purchases: I’d been wanting an oversize striped button down shirt, inspired by the Ava character on Hacks, for a while, but despite them being ubiquitous in stores didn’t quite find the right one until late summer, when I was attracted to the transitional fall colour of this chocolate brown one from Zara. I wore it several times in September, it was perfect for being sartorially sick of summer while temps remained summery.
I also impulse bought this $25 summer dress at Winners on end of season clearance. It’ll likely be resort holiday wear only, but I couldn’t resist the very ‘’me” colours and pattern and I like the somewhat unexpected straighter but not fitted cut.
I was actively NOT buying several pairs of adidas sneakers and this pair of pants, as I just can’t justify any real need, but in going to grab this photo I see another price drop on the pants sooo I’m at risk again, lol!
