So....
As today it looks like I am spending the day here( and what a fab place to be), let me show you some things I bought this weekend.

Since Angie's last post on what it is the best time to buy I decided that this is exactly what I was going to do.I had seen some things that I liked at Jacob and had some fun.

#1/2- deep burgundy pants and black and white blouse
The pants I bought at Reitmans and are a nice shade of deep burgundy. I like the fit and thickness of it but you may have diferent opinions.The blouse has a lovely pattern and I love it under jackets but after seing the pictures by itself i am seriously considering returning.

#3/4-cardigan
My intention is to wear it more open than closed and the deep color will go well with oranges and deep burgundies alike.

#5-dress
Ended up buying it.It feels confortable and I can see me wearing it a lot during fall

#6/7- moto tweed jacket
This is by far my favourite item of the group and will keep it even if the world hates it , that is what love does to people.I was thinking of wearing it for the last outfit formula Angie showed us.

#8/9-close up to see patterns and materials although the tweed and the burgundy look much darker than in real life.

What do you think of this items?You can share your opinion frankly and give advice, suggestions or simply share your feelings on this.

The tweed jacket and skinnies are fabulous. I like the sweater a lot open, not sure how much I like it closed. The color looks great on you.

I vote return the first top. It doesn't hang right - in the pictures it looks like the fabric is just not right for the style, it needs to be drapier to look good.

What a great haul! I think you should try the first top with a cami underneath before deciding. I love the pattern! Can I ask where you got the moto jacket - love it I vote keep for everything.

I especially love the cardi and the jacket. The pants need hemming as that is increasing the effect of folding on the back but I like them. The only item I'm not so crazy about is the blouse. While it's ok under the jacket, on it's own it doesn't do anything for me. Maybe look for a blouse with a more fitted silhouette (like the jacket in #6)?

The tweed jacket is perfect for you Ceila - great find. I really like most everything but agree the top in #1 would be best with a cami under it. Curious if you tried the jacket over the dress too - maybe too much of the same color but I wonder. Very pretty fall colors.

Beautiful stuff! I'm not sure I'd hem the pants...or at least not much. I would probably return the blouse just because I hate having to wear another layer under my blouse.

Love the jacket and the skinnies! Not sure on the color of the cardi - is it a dusty rose? I like the shape but not sure the color is the best on you. Not fond of the first top, but need to see with a cardi. The dress is great.

LOVE the skinnies, tweed jacket and the cardi. Those are all 10s. Wow!

I like the dress a lot too. But not as much as the goodies I listed first. Fantastic scores!!

cinnamon fern- yes the way the cardi is tied is kind of unflatering.I was bugging DH during the long weekend to take the pictures so I wanted to make it as fast as possible for him.I don't intend to wear it closed though.

Glory - The sheerness of the blouse is not bothering me so much as the shape. I didn't mind it until I saw the pictures and noticed that with a fitted top(like when wearing the jacket closed) the line of the body is much more fluid.
The jacket is from Jacob (you guessed it right Ceit)

CocoLion- You saw what I saw in the shape of the blouse. You might be right regarding the pants because the fabric is a little thick and the extra bunching makes the creases go up up up.

texstyle- We have been having some serious mind sync I also wondered if the jacket and the dress would look good together .

Preppy Pear- although it was not that that made me reconsider the blouse it is an extra thing to have to wear(as in have washed and available) a cami underneath.

alaskagirl- Actually ,the cardi is a warm camel, the dusky roses make me look sick, you are right.

I agree that the dress is not in the same category but am thinking that maybe if I add some doc marcies to it ...

Oops, I misspoke! I actually love the cardi closed. Your waist looks tiny and your legs look long, what's not to love?

The dress feels really different in style from the other stuff.

cinnamon fern - not at all, this cardi is suposed to be tied in a more artsy way and I just bundled it up :). there is not supposed to be such a marked horizontal line at the bottom.

I really like the dress, the tweed moto, and the cardi! Great haul!

I would probably return the top in 1-2 - seems like this style would be too fussy to wear on its own.

I love all of it! My least fav is the dress; I don't think it's a 10, but all the other items I think you must keep! That cardi is beautiful. the blouse seems a good foundational layering item, LOVE the moto jacket, love the jeans.

I'm the odd one here, because I LOVE that dress! And I totally think you could rock it with some Marcies. As a matter of fact, I might try to find it myself and do the same (if you don't mind). Is it also Jacob? We don't have a Jacob in Kingston but I could try it in Toronto...

I'm not normally a cardi girl, but this one is gorgeous and looks fantastic on you. I also really like the skinnies, tweed jacket and the dress. I'm afraid I'm not overly crazy about the blouse though

Everything's a 10 for me, except the blouse. It would be a 10 without the elastic, if it just fell and you could tuck/untuck. LOVE the color and fit of the skinnies. LOVE the moto jacket. LOVE the dress. But most of all? I love that cardi. And I love it tied!!! I gasped when I opened up pic 3. Yes, it looks fine open too.. but tied??? To die for. How does it look over dresses/skirt?

Love the skinnies! The bouse is not good enough for you. It might be good for layering but I really like my clothes to work hard for me and I would want it to be a 10 on its own as well. I vote return. I love drapey cardigans and I like this one. I think I will like it even more when I see it styled the way you are suggesting:) Jacket is to die for! AND I adore that dress.

Love the dress and cardi (closed more than open). I feel ya on the blouse, I was at Jacob yesterday and I love the print but I could tell the shape would not work on me. I might have to go to Reitman's and try on some pants though Are those the Comfort fit ones?
