Keeping myself honest in my plans to have a low-shop year. My purchase for March was a pair of Adidas Gazelles in cream and green for spring. I love the low profile and contrast with my dark indigo wide leg jeans. The green trim is hidden with long jeans but will come out with other looks in warmer weather. Although not exactly a one-in-one-out (a mental exercise I use to help determine if I can truly use and store something new), my off white leather Converse will be demoted to gym wear.

It's the time of year when it's very tempting to shop all the new things, but I am feeling confident in my existing wardrobe, as well as some budget pressure that should help me stay on track.
