Continuing to document my low-shop year, in April I bought a pink tee shirt to go see Niki Minaj's Pink Friday 2 World Tour stop in Montreal. My two daughters are big fans and I was basically tagging along. It was a fun show with a very thematically dressed crowd. I was glad my kids convinced me I should dress to theme, and this top from Old Navy fit the bill - not my usual color at all, but definitely my style. And I like the colour more than expected (especially when my drink matches!). It will also come in handy in Costa Rica later this month as I find I always want brighter colours than my usual in the tropics, due to the bright sun, sea and flora all around me.
Bonus pic is a recent outfit inspired by the random outfit generator. I don't think I had paired these shoes and jeans before and it works well (the length of the jeans and the big tongue on the shoes makes both items a bit tricky to style). Wore it to a jazz/electronica show and will repeat.
